Simon River Sports introduces Carbon Dragonboat Racing Paddle August 18, 2003, Outdoor Retailer Summer Market Simon River Sports is pleased to announce the addition of a carbon dragonboat racing paddle to its line of high performance carbon racing wings. The SRS dragonboat racing blade design faithfully follows the IDBF (International Dragon Boat Federation) 202a specifications and is pending IDBF approval. The handle is sculptured for comfortable handling similar to Olympic class flatwater canoe paddles. The paddle is handcrafted from carbon and epoxy resins, making it strong, stiff and light. The blade is available in lengths of 41-51 inches and weighs in the range of 450 and 510 grams depending on the length of the paddle.
