| DESCRIPTION
Based on a traditional and proven C-1 hull design such as the DELTA C-1’s, still raced at international events. KARINA’s design has a reduced width, from 75 cm to 55 cm in comparison, and on the time trials, it is 3 to 5 seconds faster on 1000 m than the latter. In addition, the stability is slightly better because the paddler does not have to lean over the gunnels as far as when using wider boats, and that contributes to the boat’s speed as less steering is required. The KARINA comes complete with a fixed floor platform.
The Karina has won 1 medal at the 2005 World Master Games in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and 2 medals at the 2005 edition of the Canadian Masters, held in Montreal, QC, Canada
